It's a classic example of earth's action-fighting genre. Complete with Japanese swords appearing in pre-industrial Scotland and heads getting chopped off.

[he smirks to himself, Karkat was way too easy, sometimes.

This was one of the few normal films that he had watched with his brother... purely because of the sword fights.

It actually felt a little strange watching it with someone else... but Karkat was definitely an acceptable movie partner]
