Oh, no... not at all. [He's cleaning his glasses over here at having this much good-natured cheer leveled at him at once.] I've found it to be immeasurably more effective when we all work together, rather-- rather than let our differences divide us. If I can aid in that, I would like to.

[She smiles, giggling a little bit at his words.] Of course! Maybe all of the wardens can get together and try to find different ways to make this place a little more like home for everyone?

W-Willow? [There's some audible fumbling as he drops his glasses clean out of his hands and then snaps them up again, putting them on.] I believe we should speak privately. She and I are from the same, er, world, as it were. We're quite close.

I'm not normally one for sentimentality, [this is a blatant lie, Giles,] but you may be right. Some of the inmates are, unsurprisingly, hostile. Perhaps a more congenial atmosphere would help set them at ease. [He's frankly extremely doubtful of that, but he doesn't have it in him to crush her idea. He's a softie.]
