::Not necessarily 'holier-than-thou', perhaps 'more-law-abiding-than-thou' would be more accurate. Agnostic here, after all.::

Chief Inspector Nicholas Angel. ::Look on the bright side, Araz. He could have been Javert. And then you would have had to endure a holiermore-law-abiding-than-thou policeman who spoke in the third person. (But then, probably no one would blame you for tossing him over the side.)::

As I was saying. Can't be hell. It's a ship, yes, and at least half of the occupants are deceased. However, I'm given to understand that hell involves a bit more eternal flame and torment, and a bit less opportunity to amend your ways.

Regardless of semantics, though, it is still a ship. Would you like me to see if I can find something for that nausea? ::Surely there was something here...::

[Excellent point, except in his mind 'holier' and 'more law abiding' are essentially the same thing. Both would yell at him for the same things at any rate]

[Araz just stared at him for a moment, opening and shutting his mouth several times, just a little too dumfounded to think of what to say at first] Ya know I wasn't actually-Wait, waddaya mean 'at least half'? Ain't everybody here dead? [He didn't offer his own name in return]

And yeah, well, ain't like them clergymen know everthin'. Bet they never been dead before [He grumbled. Araz eyed the pi-'inspector' warily. Cops weren't nice to you unless they wanted something in return]

You lookin' for a trade you're barkin' up the wrong tree, buck. [On the bright side at least he was handling his nausea a little better already-minus looking green around the edges]
